An oceanfront luxury residential tower at Playa Jagüey / El Tamarindo, La Unión, described in the press as the department's first high-rise residential project. The tower has 12 levels and 60 apartments and is developed by Miguel Nasser. Narváez Hinds carried out the structural design, with a seismic-resisting system of special concrete shear walls per ACI 318-19, accounting for shear amplification from second-order effects to ensure ductility; the design was developed to ASCE 7-22 and the latest seismic-hazard study for El Salvador.
