High-rise residential tower with special concrete moment frames, optimized through value engineering.
A residential apartment tower in the La Mascota district of San Salvador, marketed under the NU brand by Alpha Inmobiliaria. Narváez Hinds carried out the structural and seismic design, based on special reinforced-concrete moment frames per ACI 318-19 and designed to ASCE 7-22 and the latest seismic-hazard study for El Salvador. Value engineering was applied to reduce seismic demand and improve structural performance.
